Every 10/10 of the Past Five Years (2017 – 2021)

As someone who’s kind of bored with the state of music right now, I’ve spent most of time either going back and listening to some of my favourite songs of all time or, at least according to last.fm, Taylor Swift (I know I know). And though I never really thought to really put all my favourite tracks together into a post, I was inspired by 108ent’s most recent post to actually give it a shot.

Now I know that I’m not the most harsh of reviewers and the length of this list follows such a notion. It’s quite long (63 songs to be exact) but highlights songs that I truly consider perfect. And yes it’s all subjective in the end but if I were to distill my music taste into a group of modern day tracks, I think these would perfectly fit the bill. And this time, rather than jus took at singles, I’m taking into consideration both singles and b-sides for maximum content. I’ve grouped the songs by release year and then alphabetically so the ordering here doesn’t matter at all. And alongside those tracks that made the list, I’ve got a number of tracks that are *just* on the edge. Songs that I adore but just aren’t there for me to consider them a perfect 10.
